"After saving up for rods and pistons I came to Dale based on his years of experience and stellar reputation. Add to that the fact that Dale is just a great guy all around. As is to be expected my car with its myriad of nagging issues did not help the matter one bit. First off I would like to say that Dale's attention to detail is impeccable and I feel fortunate that I was able to have my work completed by him. As the time has passed on between the various upgrades to the car, so had the add-on component installation order. This was a good time to sort out some loose ends under the hood. After finding many individual issues to deal with Dale was never thrown off task and even better he gave me a list of things that I needed to source in order to get the build completed. I thought this was great as it made me feel involved in what I would normally consider a job well above my skill set and one that I really could not add any value to by heavily involving myself. Besides the aforementioned rods and pistons, Dale also replaced the timing belt and tensioners, installed race bearings, installed new gaskets where applicable and even added a nice zerosports push button start feature. The most difficult thing for me in this entire process was going 500 miles with virtually no boost and nothing over 4k rpm's. This is pretty much the way I have been driving the car since last fall. :( I am finally at a point where I have reached the power levels I have been shooting at for 5 plus years. With the fully built IPT 4EAT transmission, in conjunction with an EJ257 with internals, RS heads with cams, spring and retainers, and now a new turbo and up pipe/downpipe and intake.
